Green Woodworking
A beginners' introduction to working with green wood. The day is suitable for anyone who would like to try their hand at working with green wood in an informal and fun setting, perhaps to decide if they would like to take their interest further.
The day will include an introduction to green wood tools, safety with tools, cleaving and splitting wood, and using a draw horse. Everyone will be able to leave with something they have made themselves! Safety gloves and tea/coffee will be provided, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-booking is essential, a covered area will be available but please bring a coat! A 6 hour, day workshop.
