Grounds for Hope - Book review

For anyone wishing to live on the land on a budget I would recommend this book as a great starting point.  It covers ways in which it is possible to buy land that doesn't have residential planning permission (and is therefore relatively cheap) and live on it legally.  It doesn't go into too much legal depth, so is therefore easy to read, but does have pointers and references if you wish to pursue any particular avenue further.

It is more useful for those that are considering Scotland and Wales to buy land because it covers some local planning policies that make it easier there (unfortunately its just not so easy in England!).

There are however good practical tips to get started living on the land lagaly wherever that might be in the UK.

I would say that nearly six pounds is quite steep for a short ebook but I suppose its a small price to pay considering the money that might be saved using the ideas available in the book.
